Disability Support Worker

Requirements:

  • Show compassion and empathy towards individuals with disabilities

  • Good communication and people skills

  • Ability to follow care plans and assist with daily needs

  • Flexible and adaptable in a changing work environment

  • Committed to respecting the rights and dignity of people with disabilities

Qualifications:

  • Certification in Disability Support, Individual Support, or a related field (Certificate III or IV)

  • Current First Aid and CPR certification

  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle

  • Clear National Police Check (issued within the last 6 months)

Checks:

  • National Police Check

  • Working with Children Check (if applicable)

Registered Nurse
Lord Ability Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team and provide comprehensive care to patients with severe disabilities. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality and compassionate care to individuals with complex needs.


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent qualification.

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.

  • Proven experience in providing care to patients with severe disabilities.

  • Knowledge of disability care practices and principles.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Registrations and Checks:

  • Registration with AHPRA.

  • Police clearance certificate and working with children check.

  • Any other relevant certifications and clearances required by local regulatory authorities.
